ABOUT ME
One of my biggest passions throughout my journey has been expressing myself through dance and movement. It all started with a show called Angelina Ballerina - my affinity for Ballet. It was a mission at eight years old struggling to wake up on a Saturday morning to catch this little mouse who dreamt of becoming a ballerina. It was many little girl's dream at that time, and that dream did not stop there for me. I took my first Ballet class in Koreatown, Los Angeles after I graduated High School and I continue to dance Ballet today. This large hobby of mine has since grown into many other forms of art, dance and movement and it has
now become a large part of who I am.
Although I took a few Yoga classes in between, it wasn't until I pursued my Yoga Teacher Training in 2020 that led me to this journey of teaching classes and becoming a Practitioner. A year before, I was struggling heavily with my mental health and was diagnosed with clinical depression. It was incredibly disheartening and at the same time healing to know that the struggle I felt was given a name. I felt like I needed to make a change and come back to connecting with my soul in ways I knew how, and movement was one way. Through this training, I have never felt more connected to myself and the amazing power simple breath can do. Through listening to other's stories, seeing the growth and progress with practice, a welcoming environment in various different spaces and platforms, and a feeling of peace even in the middle of a storm, I can say that Yoga has changed my life. And with that, I practice alongside each and every student and learn more and more each time.
